Hailstork: Prelude on Duke Street

Describing this work that is less technically demanding than his other organ music, Adolphus Hailstork has written: “The Prelude on Duke Street represents my love for the pipe organ and for the music of J.S. Bach. My hope is that this piece can find a place as a church prelude (or postlude) or as a recital piece, especially for students.”
